District Board Background

The District Board’s primary responsibilities are to safeguard the health interests of the community and the District’s economic well-being. The Board takes this duty seriously and works hard to identify, promote and support a multitude of health care programs that benefit the residents of the District.

Additionally, as lessor of the Peninsula Medical Center, the Board ensures the economic well-being of District and the Peninsula Medical Center.

Previous nursing experience includes work in ICU/CCU, Neuro stepdown unit, and Cardiac Rehab (at Mills and Peninsula hospital for 12 years).
