Welcome and thank you for visiting the Peninsula Health Care
District. The purpose of this site is to keep District residents
abreast of a variety of health care interests throughout the
District, as well as provide accurate and timely information
on important decisions regarding Mills-Peninsula Medical Center.
We
want District members to be informed and actively involved in
all decision-making processes. Regular public District Board
meetings are scheduled at the Peninsula Health Care District's
Headquarters at 1600 Trousdale Drive, Suite 1210, and your
attendance is always desired. Occasionally we will change the location. Please note the location of our upcoming meetings.
We look forward to hearing your
thoughts and concerns as we all work toward ensuring the foundation
of this health care district, the Peninsula Medical Center,
is able to support the health care needs of our community.
If
you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to email us
at info@peninsulahealthcaredistrict.org.

Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony - March 29, 2011
“The opening of this center is a critical step toward restoring the health of the San Bruno community,” said Dan Ullyot, Chairman of the Peninsula Health Care District Board.“The district’s support for the center is a natural extension of our mission to promote access to health services, particularly as this community moves from physical to psychological recovery. We firmly believe that this type of public-private partnership with the American Red Cross Bay Area Chapter is at the core of achieving healthy communities, and to leveraging human and financial resources to the benefit of district residents.” San Bruno is one of seven Peninsula communities served by the Peninsula Health Care District.

At its regular Board meeting September 24, 2009, the Board of Directors unanimously approved support of the Bill of Rights for Children and Youth of San Mateo County.
This Bill of Rights was created by the Peninsula Partnership Leadership council, a group of leaders from multiple disciplines throughout the County, whose mission is to formulate policies that effectively address the needs and foster the healthy development of children, youth and families in San Mateo County.
